JOIN THE FUN!
It started as a group of 50 in New Orleans ten years ago when they walked in the Southern Decadence parade. Now it's a worldwide phenomenon! People are organizing events all over the globe and we hope the Mrs. Roper community continues to grow! This will be the second year it's being organized in both Providence and we sure hope it won't be the last! |

EVERYONE'S INVITEDWe love ALL of the characters in the show, don't you? But here's the deal - this is a MRS. ROPER romp, and that means you need to dress up as Mrs. Roper, and Mrs. Roper ONLY.

YOU MUST WEAR A CAFTANThis is a costume event, so that means no street clothes please. You MUST wear a caftan and wig. Scour local thrift shops, Savers, WalMart or go online and search for caftans - there are a million of them!
And don't forget your curly wig! There's a trophy for best costume so go as crazy as you dare! |
MORE THAN 3'S COMPANYHow many Mrs. Ropers will be at our first event? A whole gaggle because Three's not enough company! It's going to be a fun afternoon where we'll enjoy yummy food and delicious drinks so pace yourself. And along the way we'll be playing a few fun games where you can win great prizes!
